Did you know Hudson Valley Lighting is one of five companies constituting the Littman Brands? Along with Corbett, Troy, Troy Landscape, and CSL (Creative Systems Lighting), we are a brand owned and operated by David Littman. The five brands form one entity, Larger Than Light, for ease in communicating without overloading to lovers of luxury lighting and inspired design via social media on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
In addition to this, we release a small magazine, Larger Than Light, filled with vital content and great photographs about projects and designers using our fixtures. You can view it online by going to our Design Center page and clicking on the Larger Than Light tile.
Red Cross Designers' Show House 2016 in Palm Beach | Designed by Joseph Cortes, interviewed in our newest issue of Larger Than Light | Please do not distribute
We're proud to present the latest edition, an exciting new summer issue packed with high-profile projects featuring Littman Brands, as well as the latest trends, designer tips, products, technologies, and more. In this issue, we take a look at some high-profile projects and philanthropic causes that use the brands.
In its pages, you'll find
- The nautical-inspired design of San Diego’s Ironside Fish & Oyster, enhanced through Hudson Valley’s Blaine and Lambert pendants.
- Elaine Culotti, interior designer and owner of Porta Bella Design, who considers Littman Brands a “must-have” in her projects. In her latest showplace, she creates a Mediterranean-inspired oasis with Littman Brands fixtures inside a palatial home in Pacific Palisades, California.
- Matthew Quinn, who used our Lewis and Leyden to glorious effect in the House Beautiful Kitchen of the Year 2016, interviewed about kitchen trends. (Check out the amazing butler pantry he did, using our Middlebury flush mount, here.)
- ARCHETTO, a kinetic hanging LED light sculpture designed by Littman Brands manager of design and engineering, Nicolas Baldoni. ARCHETTO is a prime example of how Littman Brands Contract continues to push the boundaries of custom work and advance the lighting industry through cutting-edge technology and complete custom capabilities.
